Nintendo is helping me relive my childhood one game at a time.
A week ago, Nintendo announced that they will be remaking Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire for the Nintendo 3DS, and I couldn't be more thrilled about it. Pokemon Sapphire (originally released in March of 2003 on Gameboy Advance) was an essential part of my 8-year-old existence! This game always held a special place in my heart, and I can't wait until this experience can be shared with the new generation of Pokemon fans.
After completing Pokemon X last month, and absolutely adoring it, I am fully confident that this reboot will be a success!
Retailers GameStop and Amazon are both accepting preorders now.
Here's the very minimal sneak peek of the gameplay footage:
What was your favorite Pokemon game? Let me know in the comments!

Just wondering, have you ever tried playing a Pokemon game as a "Nuzlocke"? It really brought back Pokemon as a fun game for me, it made it hard haha!
ReplyDeleteI actually haven't, and I am so glad that you mentioned playing that way! I'm totally going to replay Pokemon X in Nuzlocke mode!
